James Cameron, Camerjam

James has been producing mobile conference since 1999 and was instrumental in building up IIR’s Mobile Content portfolio of events covering mobile advertising, mobile internet, mobile messaging and location based services.

James founded Camerjam in 2009 and produced the successful MobAdUK conference in London on 15th June. Attended by 150 leading mobile and ad execs, MobAdUK presented the results of research into the state of the mobile advertising market in the UK, a research project that is now being rolled out globally.

Camerjam’s philosophy is to move away from traditional conference formats and create interesting event designs, while ensuring there is the perfect environment for participants to broker business deals.

Peter Giblin, Camerjam

Peter loves bringing people together to learn, discuss and work together. His first taste of conference producing was organising the social agenda for 300 Young President’s Organisation members and their 500 children for a week in Stockholm in 1987. After graduating from Yale University and a two year apprenticeship with Merchant Ivory Productions, Peter joined forces with Silicon Alley Reporter Magazine in New York to co-create and co-produce the Rising Tide Summit series of technology conferences, which the New York Times christened “the TED of the East Coast.”

Peter joined forces with Camerjam at the beginning of this year to create conferences bringing together the different cultures who need to work together to fulfil the potential of the mobile industry as a whole. Camerjam does this by creating unique formats whereby participates can seek genuine solutions and partnerships to reach their mobile goals.
