Taking Internet Mobile: mobileSQUARED Roadshow, 5 Nov 2009, London
Taking Internet Mobile – the first in a series of mobileSQUARED roadshows – is a half-day conference that will deliver strategic data and insight on the UK mobile Internet market, its mobile consumers and their behaviour. The aim of the event is to educate brands and businesses how they can use the mobile medium in conjunction with their present digital activities to drive brand awareness, communication, and transactions.
The conference is designed for companies already operating in mobile, companies looking to evolve their digital strategy to incorporate a mobile Internet strategy and to educate companies of the benefits of the mobile Internet to their business.
The conference programme will be transparent; delegates will know the topics to be covered and the data and projections that will be presented during the course of the afternoon. Research from mobileSQUARED, Lightspeed Research, Digital Architects and Trendsmedia, along with the conference presentations, will be transformed into a mobile industry report by mobileSQUARED to be distributed to each delegate at the end of the event.
M-Football, 21 Jan 2010, Emirates Stadium, London
M-Football is a one-day conference designed to enable brands, agencies and mobile players to optimise their strategies in the lead up to the FIFA World Cup™ in 2010. The success of mobile marketing campaigns at the 2006 FIFA World Cup™ and UEFA European Championships in 2008 show that the FIFA World Cup™ 2010 presents a massive opportunity for brands, given high penetration of mobile internet users in South Africa.
The conference aims to share case studies, inspire campaigns, explain the technological landscape and introduce potential partners to each other. The format has been designed to facilitate the creation of calls-to-action and future business partnerships, in particular the afternoon business roundtables which promote enhanced networking and an environment to broker business deals.
