What's your app of the moment?
I’m a typical girl I’m afraid and have been long awaiting the ASOS app. It’s been on the cards for a while and, as expected, it’s delivered. I love how easy it is to browse and search for items, save products to come back to later and the checkout is dangerously simple!
What is your primary phone?
iPhone 4, couldn’t live without it.
Which mobile startups have you got your eye on?
Jay Bregman, who founded eCourier is doing some really interesting stuff on mobile which I will be watching when his latest product launches this autumn.
What are you currently working on?
Landing the Mobile Strategy piece with stakeholders internally at Tesco before executing the plan to get it live to customers.
What will be the biggest opportunity in 2012?
At the world’s 3rd largest retailer it goes without saying that NFC is a huge opportunity for Tesco and one that needs to be embraced.
Who are your 3 rockstars in mobile?
The Ribot Brothers (@ribotminimus and@ribotmaxiums) continue to inspire andLucia Del-Prete has a wealth of knowledge, ideas and the ability to identify opportunities across businesses.
Who were you working for 10 years ago?
I was still at school! Although I had a part time job at John Lewis in the ready-made-curtains department, if that counts?!
Who was/is your best boss?
@AngelaMaurer was fab to work for and great to learn from as she’s got the technology background coupled with a true customer focus. Our new CEO has also got great vision and I’m really excited to see how he moves Tesco forward in the digital space.
Who should we interview next?
@Owenday, he’s a complete mobile guru, always has lots of stories to tell and has helped us out a great deal.
