This week’s MOBILE10 series kicks off with Jennifer Hiley, formerly organiser of Swedish Beers Down Under, Hyperfactory, 5th Finger, Tigerspike (all in Sydney), and now rocking the London mobile scene as co-organiser of Swedish Beers London and We Love Mobile.

What’s your app of the moment?

Hard to give just one. Quite partial to a bit of Plane Finder for my wish I was ‘going’ there moments, obsessed with Bjork’s Biophilia for her incredible creativity, the Dictionary app as I love words, Addison Lee for the sheer ease of use and Evernote to assist me with my current study!

What is your primary phone?

iPhone 4 – this month, I wonder what it will be next?!

Which mobile startups have you got your eye on?

Cortexica is an interesting company we have been working with to provide some exciting image recognition solutions for a car manufacture and online classifieds.

What are you currently working on?

Working across major global brands developing strategic mobile campaigns, games, apps and sites. I am also fortunate to work with smaller, local companies linking experiential driving in store and very excited about the launch of my first m-commerce site for a furniture retailer.

What will be the biggest opportunity in 2012?

Mobile is definitely moving up the marketing wishlist of savvy brands who finally realise their consumers are accessing them through multiple devices. It is such an exciting time and I would love to see more pioneers pushing the mobile boundaries. Mish-mashing technologies such as NFC, location and social, to create joined up consumer centric campaigns.

Who are your 3 rockstars in mobile?

The Hyperfactory for innovation, ustwo for their intriguing products and Burberry who keep pushing the boundaries with their latest ‘Tweetwalk’ work.

Who were you working for 10 years ago?

Five TV

Who was/is your best boss?

Matt Costello, co-founder of 5th Finger who taught me everything I know about mobile and Simon Liss, We Love Mobile, for his incredibly sound strategic vision.
