What’s your app of the moment?
Ever searched something in your handbag? Then you know what my favorite app is not only for the moment but already for a long time: the good old torch light.
What is your primary phone?
iPhone 4 – I still don’t like using it as a phone, but I do love all other features.
Which mobile startups have you got your eye on?
All startups in the mobile social gaming sector, of course.
What are you currently working on?
Talking to journalists about our book “Social Network Photography”. The first book which gives social networkers and social gamers a real face in contrary to the MAUs and DAUs we constantly hear about in this industry.
What will be the biggest opportunity in 2012?
Next year will be the year of Web Apps which enable a lot of cross device interaction. Especially for mobile social games this will open a lot of new and exciting opportunities.
Who are your 3 rockstars in mobile?
So what’s my definition of a rockstar? Fascinating people I would spend a night in a bar with – without smashing the furniture (hopefully), but with a lot of visionary thoughts, learnings and laughter. Here we go:
Harald Neidhardt, Mr. MLOVE – I do love the idea of MLOVE and the events!
And I don’t need to list my personal rockstars no. 2 and 3 as Harald surely brings some great industry visionaries with him.
Who were you working for 10 years ago?
iobox Germany – a subsidiary of Telefónica and one of the first movers in mobile content business in Europe.
Who was/is your best boss?
Having an own company for 9 years now, I hope to be a good boss myself. But who helps me to do a good job? My business partner Antonio Vince Staybl is a fantastic co-partner – visionary, enthusiastic and a lot of fun to work with.
